1. COPPA Compliance & Walled Garden

Vibe-Verse Writing Platform operates as a strict walled garden. We are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from our student users.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We explicitly DO NOT collect any of the following from students:

  • Last names
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Home addresses
  • Birthdates or ages
  • Social Security Numbers
  • Geolocation data
  • Biometric data
  • Photos or videos
  • Cross-site tracking identifiers

3. Data We Do Collect

For the educational function of the platform, we collect:

  • First name (only for classroom identification)
  • Teacher-assigned 4-digit login code
  • Writing submissions (which are actively filtered for PII)
  • Anonymized, aggregate usage metrics for educational improvement

4. Third-Party Tracking

Vibe-Verse absolutely forbids the use of third-party advertising or tracking scripts (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel). We do not sell, rent, or monetize student data in any form.

5. Security & Data Protection

All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We utilize strict Row-Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure that students can only ever access their own work, and teachers can only access work from their assigned classrooms.

6. AI Processing & PII Stripping

Any writing submitted for AI feedback is first processed through our automated PII detection filter. All identifying information is stripped before the text is sent to our AI partners, and we operate under strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) that prohibit any student data from being used to train AI models.

7. Data Deletion

Parents, guardians, or schools may request the deletion of a student's data at any time. We automatically purge student data after 2 years of inactivity or within 30 days of a school contract ending.
