1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Vibe-Verse Writing Platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including teachers, administrators, and students (represented by their schools/parents).

2. 100% Student IP Ownership

Vibe-Verse firmly believes that a student's creative work belongs entirely to them.

All stories, character designs, world-building concepts, and writing generated by students on this platform remain the exclusive Intellectual Property (IP) of the student creator. Vibe-Verse claims zero ownership over student-generated content.

We only require a limited, non-exclusive license to display the work within the closed environment of the student's classroom for peer review and teacher grading purposes. This license terminates immediately upon the deletion of the student's account.

3. Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers utilizing the Platform agree to:

  • Keep their login credentials secure and not share them.
  • Only create accounts for students currently enrolled in their classes.
  • Act as the primary moderator for their classroom's content.
  • Review flagged content in the Teacher Review Queue promptly.
  • Obtain necessary parental consents in accordance with local school district policies before onboarding students.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Users agree NOT to use the Platform to:

  • Submit personally identifiable information (such as full names, addresses, or phone numbers) in their writing.
  • Harass, bully, or intimidate other students.
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or access data belonging to other users.
  • Submit inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content.

Violations of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.

5. Privacy and COPPA Compliance

Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is strictly designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We collect the absolute minimum data necessary to provide educational services. For detailed information, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Vibe-Verse does not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, although we employ industry-standard security measures.
